Walnut & Embossed Brass Sideboard — Diamond Lattice Floral Repousse with Two Doors

A two-door sideboard of considerable decorative weight, its walnut frame entirely sheathed in embossed brass worked into a bold diamond lattice programme — each lozenge filled with a hand-worked floral medallion in repousse, the relief catching the light across the full width of the double doors. A rope-twist brass border frames the door panels and runs continuously around the piece, defining each element with a line of warm gold. Two drawers sit above the doors, their faces similarly clad in embossed brass with original key escutcheons, while brass corner mounts and a brass-edged plinth base complete the surface coverage from top to foot. The walnut top is left in its natural state, its warm grain a deliberate counterpoint to the worked brass below.
