Mokhtar has spent over 30 years travelling across the ancient world, sourcing rare handmade pieces from the finest artisan quarters. A craftsman by birthright, he settled in Marrakech where he founded Al Maleh House — a living archive of the finest handmade objects from across the ancient world.
From his atelier in the medina, Mokhtar and his team produce bespoke furniture that marries traditional Moroccan craftsmanship with contemporary sensibility — mother of pearl inlay, bone carving, brass casting, and cedar woodwork.
Every object in our collection has been chosen by hand. Every piece tells a story of a maker's devotion to their craft.
