Syrian Octagonal Side Table — Hand-Inlaid Mother of Pearl on Black Lacquer

A masterpiece of Levantine craftsmanship, this octagonal side table is entirely hand-inlaid with mother of pearl against a deep black lacquered finish. Every leaf, vine, and floral motif is placed by hand by master artisans carrying centuries of Syrian tradition.

The arched cutouts on the base echo classical Islamic architecture, while the iridescent inlay shifts with the light — no two viewing angles are the same.
