Among the most architecturally ambitious pieces in Syrian furniture tradition, this hexagonal side table combines three distinct levels of craftsmanship. The hexagonal top is densely hand-inlaid with camel bone, mother of pearl, and contrasting wood in radiating geometric and floral patterns, with Arabic calligraphy woven into the apron border.

Six turned ebony legs connected by carved Moorish arches support a lower hexagonal inlaid shelf — a signature feature of Damascus furniture at its most refined. Every surface, including the shelf, is fully decorated.
