Square Mother of Pearl & Wood Inlay Jewellery Box — Floral Arabesque with Red Ribbon Pull

A square jewellery box with softly rounded corners, entirely clad in hand-inlaid mother of pearl and dark wood marquetry.

The lid carries a dense floral arabesque of trailing vine scrolls and tulip heads in dark chocolate wood against luminous ivory and champagne shell, the pattern flowing continuously to a clean dark wood border. The sides continue the same vine vocabulary, a red grosgrain ribbon pull set into the lid seam for practical opening. A box elevated from everyday object to decorative piece.
