Smoked Wood & Black Resin Drum Stool — Radiating Sunburst

A barrelled drum stool inlaid with alternating strips of smoked wood and black resin, the warm amber and honey tones of the timber glowing against the deep ebony ground in a vertical stripe that runs the full height of the piece. On the top surface, the same stripes fan outward from a central brass medallion in a bold sunburst composition, the lines radiating to the rim with the precision of a compass drawing. The silhouette is softly barrelled — fuller at the mid-section, tapering gently toward base and crown — giving the piece an organic roundness that tempers its graphic intensity.

Where camel bone brings ivory warmth, smoked wood brings depth and grain — a material with its own character that shifts in different lights, from golden amber in direct sun to a richer, darker tone in shade.
