Orientalist Figural Torchère Lamps — Polychrome Bronze Male & Female Pair with Frosted Glass Flame Shade

A pair of Orientalist figural torchère lamps, each cast in polychrome bronze as a standing figure raising a gilded lotus bowl aloft.

The female wears a jewelled bodice, draped skirt and turban headdress, the male a wrapped loincloth and turban, each supporting a frosted white flame-form glass shade. Deep bronze skin tones meet terracotta and gold drapery, gilt jewellery and painted textile patterns, each figure standing on a circular gilt plinth over an ornate acanthus scrollwork base. Presented as a matching pair for a grand entrance hall or collector's salon.
