An acorn finial lid, scrolled ram's-head handles and a cast octagonal plinth carry dense gilded arabesques and acanthus scrolls framing the central painted cartouche. Each urn bears two hand-painted scenes — a figurative woodland composition on one face, a luminous pastoral landscape on the reverse.
