Mother of Pearl & Wood Lidded Storage Chest — Khatam Diamond Mosaic with Suede Interior

A lidded storage chest with its exterior entirely covered in a Khatam geometric micro-mosaic of mother of pearl and wood.

Thousands of tiny diamond fragments in warm amber, honey, ivory and ebony tones assemble into a bold lattice wrapping the full circumference, the lid carrying its own finer, denser mosaic framed by a dark wood border. Four small brass feet lift the piece, the interior lined in warm caramel suede with gold button tufting. A piece that functions as storage and jewel box in equal measure.
