The inlay is continuous and unrelenting — circular rosettes connected by flowing foliate tendrils that fill every corner of the shaped top without a single gap, the iridescent champagne and gold of the shell luminous against the dark wood. The pedestal stems are inlaid with equal devotion: geometric panels and floral motifs running the full length of each baluster form, terminating in tripod bases where each curved leg carries its own floral spray to the very tip.
