Mother of Pearl & Resin Serving Tray — Iridescent Chevron Herringbone on Black Ground

A serving tray clad entirely in hand-cut mother of pearl and black resin in a continuous chevron herringbone pattern.

Pointed shell pieces arranged in alternating zigzag rows wrap from the tray floor up the inner walls and across the exterior sides without interruption, reading as graphic black and white from a distance and dissolving into shifting iridescence up close. There is no central motif, no medallion — only the pattern, pursued to its logical conclusion. A tray that makes serving a visual statement in itself.
