Mother of Pearl Mosaic Octagonal Side Table — Full Inlay on Ebony Base

An octagonal side table almost entirely covered in mother of pearl mosaic — diamond lattice, a geometric star top, and corner rosettes.

The arched cutouts at the base and eight ebony-accented legs reference classical Mamluk architecture, the iridescent surface shifting from silver to pearl white depending on the light. A piece that has to be seen in person to be believed.
