Mother of Pearl, Camel Bone & Carved Wood Octagonal Side Table — Grand Moorish Star Inlay

A large octagonal side table of monumental craft ambition, its broad top surface entirely inlaid with a breathtaking Moorish star composition in mother of pearl and camel bone — a sixteen-pointed central star radiating outward into an intricate field of interlocking geometric forms, each line precise, each angle exact, the whole surface a testament to a tradition of inlay that has been refined over centuries. Concentric border registers of chevron, diamond, and micro-star motifs frame the composition on every edge, layer upon layer of detail accumulating toward the rim. The octagonal apron below is no less extraordinary: each of its eight faces carries its own complete decorative programme — carved wood honeycomb panels, Moorish arch niches, camel bone stringing, and geometric micro-inlay — the craftsmanship uninterrupted from the tabletop to the base.
