A large octagonal side table with its top entirely inlaid in a breathtaking Moorish star composition of mother of pearl and camel bone.

A sixteen-pointed central star radiates into an intricate field of interlocking geometric forms, concentric borders of chevron, diamond and micro-star motifs accumulating toward the rim. The octagonal apron carries carved wood honeycomb panels, Moorish arch niches and geometric micro-inlay on each of its eight faces. A table of genuine museum quality, among the most complete expressions of the inlay tradition available today.
