Concentric borders of mother of pearl in geometric and chevron arrangements frame the composition, the apron carrying a gold arabesque panel on black resin at each of its eight faces. Moorish arch cut-outs between the legs lend the base an almost architectural lightness. A table carrying the full vocabulary of classical decorative craft resolved into one coherent object.
