Mother of Pearl & Black Resin Geometric Stool — Mosaic Medallion

A faceted geometric stool encrusted with irregular fragments of mother of pearl set into a deep black resin ground, its angular surfaces framed by clean bone borders that define each facet as its own distinct composition. At the centre of the front face, a bold circular medallion of bone dotwork anchors the design — the same motif repeated on the top surface in miniature — lending the piece a ceremonial quality reminiscent of ancient inlaid stonework. The iridescent fragments shift from champagne to silver to gold as the light moves across them, animating the surface with a quiet, restless luminosity.
