Moorish Mosaic Glass Multi-Arm Chandelier — Crimson & Silver Star Globes with Brass Centre, Single
A chandelier of extraordinary spectacle and decorative ambition, presenting a multi-arm bronze frame carrying nine individual mosaic glass globe shades arranged in two tiers around a central pierced brass globe. Each outer shade is hand-set in crimson and silver mosaic glass in a bold star and diamond composition — the deep burgundy red punctuated by glittering silver tesserae that catch and multiply light in every direction. The central globe is hand-pierced brass, warm gold against the cooler tones of the surrounding mosaic spheres, providing a luminous focal point at the heart of the composition. A wide shallow bowl of matching crimson and silver mosaic sits above the frame as an uplight, completing the chandelier as a fully three-dimensional light sculpture.
The bronze frame is cast with scrolling foliate arms and rope-twist detailing, each arm terminating in a turned bronze socket from which the globe shades are suspended on short chains. The ceiling rose is a fluted bronze cap of considerable presence. When illuminated, the combined effect of nine mosaic globes and a central pierced brass sphere is one of total immersion — crimson and silver light scattered across every surface of the room simultaneously.
A piece of this complexity and scale is suited to a grand dining room, a double-height salon, or any interior that invites drama and warmth in equal measure. A centrepiece that transforms a room the moment it is lit.
