Monumental Antique Mirror — Hand-Inlaid Mother of Pearl & Camel Bone with Pierced Crown

A monumental antique mirror of palatial scale, its frame entirely hand-inlaid with mother of pearl and camel bone on dark wood.

The pierced crown rises in a pointed arch of open-work floral scrollwork centred on a medallion tiled in mother of pearl that shimmers with every shift of light. Three miniature minarets flank a horseshoe arch in herringbone mother of pearl, descending into a second carved arch around the glass, the side panels carrying calligraphy in white bone on dark ground. At 150 cm wide and 307 cm tall, a mirror that transforms any room it enters.
