Khatam Micro-Mosaic & Hand-Painted Chess Board — Emerald Green Floral Medallion Border

A folding chess board of refined botanical elegance, its playing surface framed by a hand-painted border of emerald green floral medallions and arabesque scrollwork on an ivory ground — the composition anchored at each corner and midpoint by bold circular motifs in green, cobalt blue, and dark ebony, their dot-work detail and scrolling tendrils rendered with miniaturist precision. The chess grid is inlaid in Khatam micro-mosaic, alternating amber and dark squares assembled from thousands of tiny geometric fragments. The reverse of each panel carries a hand-painted diamond star medallion in matching green, blue, and gold on natural polished wood, the scalloped inner edge adding an architectural flourish to the interior face.
