A folding 2-in-1 game board — chess on one face, backgammon on the other — entirely covered in Khatam micro-mosaic.

The chess side carries alternating squares of dense star inlay framed by a chevron and lattice border in amber, ivory and ebony. The backgammon side reveals triangular points inlaid in alternating patterns, centred on a hexagonal star medallion of extraordinary complexity assembled from thousands of fragments. A board containing two complete games and two complete decorative programmes.
