Deep crimson, midnight navy, olive, saffron and ivory jostle with the unselfconscious confidence of a piece made by instinct, no two panels repeating. The motifs — X marks, nested squares, stepped diamonds and zigzag fills — are worked in cut pile of varying height, a central medallion of golden diamond lattice anchoring the surrounding abundance.
