Handknotted Wool Beni Ourain Rug — Ivory Field with Diamond Zigzag Header

A high Atlas wool rug built on contrast and restraint, its lower field left in undyed natural ivory wool.

A single dark spine runs the length of the centre seam, the trace of two panels woven separately and joined by hand. The upper third shifts register entirely — a dense band of dark chocolate diamond and zigzag motifs bold enough to anchor the composition — above a narrow checkerboard band transitioning to the knotted fringe. A rug for an interior that values authenticity over decoration.
