Hand-Painted Ceramic Vessel — Twin-Handled Amphora with Floral & Calligraphic Motifs

A ceramic vessel with two broad flat handles extending like wings, its surface entirely hand-painted on a warm ivory ground.

Flowering branches bearing teal and black berries wind continuously around the handles, the body divided into registers of geometric and floral ornament in amber, teal, black and white. A calligraphic inscription runs along the lower register, painted with care and adding cultural depth to an already rich surface. The aged, irregular glaze carries the small imperfections that distinguish craft from manufacture.
