Hand-Painted Camel Bone Wall Panel — Mughal Arch Window with Pierced Lattice

Handcrafted

A monumental decorative wall panel of extraordinary hand-painted detail, its ivory camel bone surface alive with a dense programme of black botanical arabesques — sweeping foliate tendrils, chrysanthemum rosettes, and leaf sprays covering every centimetre of the surround in a composition of extraordinary density and precision. At the centre, a double cusped Mughal arch frames a pierced window of scallop lattice, its delicate cutwork allowing light to pass through in a shifting rhythm of shadow and ivory. The arch itself is outlined in bold black and filled with the same botanical abundance as the surround, the whole composition framed by a border of repeating floral medallions at the base and sides.

Hung on a wall, the lattice window catches and filters light in a way that changes through the day — a decorative object that is also a quiet architectural intervention in any interior it occupies.
