A monumental wall panel with an ivory camel bone surface alive with hand-painted black botanical arabesques.

Sweeping foliate tendrils, chrysanthemum rosettes and leaf sprays cover every centimetre in a composition of extraordinary density, centred on a double cusped arch framing a pierced window of scallop lattice. The delicate cutwork allows light to pass through in a shifting rhythm of shadow and ivory, the whole framed by a border of repeating floral medallions. Hung on a wall, the lattice window catches and filters light in a way that changes through the day.
