At 243cm tall, this floor mirror is entirely hand-inlaid with camel bone and mother of pearl in dense geometric hexagonal and chevron patterns across every surface of the wide frame. Above it rises a fully pierced carved crown of extraordinary detail — intertwining phoenixes, cascading arabesques, and a central vase composition carved from solid wood. The sculpted side columns and ornate feet complete a piece that has no contemporary equivalent.
