Cloisonné Enamel Candlesticks — Crimson & Gold Arabesque, Matching Pair

A pair of candlesticks hand-enamelled in the cloisonné tradition, a deep crimson ground covered in gold and ivory arabesque.

Gold banding at base, midpoint and collar divides the surface into registers without interrupting the arabesque's continuity, the wire partitions defining each motif barely visible within the fired colour. The surface glows under candlelight, crimson deepening and gold brightening as flame throws light down the shaft. Presented as a pair, suited to a dining table, mantelpiece or console.
