Carved Wood, Camel Bone & Mother of Pearl Cabinet on Stand — Moorish Star Door with Crenellated Crown

A tall cabinet on stand of exceptional architectural character, its upper section dominated by a single carved door panel of extraordinary relief — a dense Moorish geometric star composition worked in deep walnut, its interlocking forms punctuated by camel bone inlay accents that catch the light against the dark carved ground. The cabinet is crowned by a crenellated cornice of carved pointed merlon forms, its silhouette as architectural as any palace battlement rendered in miniature. Camel bone geometric border inlay frames the cabinet on all sides, the stringing precise and continuous from crown to base. The lower stand section carries a single drawer with carved pull, flanked by mother of pearl geometric tile inset panels, above a Moorish arch apron. Four turned legs connect at a central finial stretcher, the base completing the piece with classical composure.
