A continuous field of polychrome floral motifs in saffron, terracotta, sage green and cobalt repeats across the top, apron, legs and stretcher without interruption. The top carries a tight all-over pattern of flowering sprays radiating from a central medallion, the stretcher echoing the composition at smaller scale. A table belonging to the tradition of polychrome hand-painted bone inlay — painstaking, joyful, without restraint.
