A monumental life-size sculpture of a seated camel, elaborately decorated with a hand-crafted ceremonial saddle in embossed silver and gold with crimson fabric, fringe tassels and gold leaf accents. The camel is rendered in a deep ebony finish with gold-tipped hooves, its neck raised and expression serene — a portrait of noble patience.

The saddle is a work of decorative art in its own right — embossed metalwork panels, beaded borders, layered fringing and twin brass pommel posts combine to create a piece of ceremonial splendour that references the great caravan traditions of the ancient world.
