Bronze Female Musician Sculpture — Orientalist Mandolin Player in Polychrome Patina
A bronze sculpture of a standing female musician in the Orientalist tradition, playing a mandolin in flowing robes.
She wears a gold beaded necklace and draped garments that fall with remarkable naturalism, her eyes half-closed in concentration. The rare polychrome patina — deep verdigris blue-green on the robes against warm amber bronze on skin and instrument — is a finishing technique of considerable mastery, closer to painting than conventional bronze work. A collector's piece equally at home in a luxury interior, hotel lobby or private gallery.
