A wide saffron border is alive with repeating geometric rosettes, diamond forms and stylised florals in burnt orange, black and ochre. The field medallions are worked with a geometric precision that belies the spontaneity of tribal weaving, each hook and stepped form placed with deliberate intention. Hand-knotted in natural wool using traditional vegetable-derived dyes, the carpet carries a depth of colour only age and authentic technique can produce.
