Antique Hand-Painted Enamel Double Door — Polychrome Floral, Calligraphy & Peacock Panels

An antique double door hand-painted in fired enamel, its colour kiln-fused into turquoise, saffron, crimson, ivory and gold panels.

Fired enamel is applied in natural pigments then kiln-fired to fuse the colour permanently into the surface, producing a luminosity no ordinary paint can match. Six panels unfold a complete programme — cascading floral vases above, calligraphy cartouches at the centre, and paired peacocks amid crimson floral grounds below. Doors of this technique, scale and condition are exceptionally rare on the market today.
