A pair of ceramic amphoras in the lustreware tradition, with broad scalloped twin handles and dense cobalt-and-copper arabesque.

The handle treatment is the true rarity — flat, winged and scalloped, a lateral extension of the vessel's decorative programme. The body divides into registers: a neck frieze of copper-lustre vine, a globular mid-section of cobalt and diamond motifs on an ivory ground, and a foot repeating the pattern. Offered as a matching pair, these amphoras represent lustreware at its most architecturally ambitious.
